- First-hand rating experience utilizing all three design/rating methods (WSD, LFD, and the new LRFD method).
- Experience with countless bridge types including straight and curved steel girders; steel and wrought iron trusses; concrete arches, rigid frames, slabs, and T-beams; pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete beams; timber and timber/concrete composite beams; and many more.
- Experience with a variety of bridge rating/analysis software packages including BAR 7, Descus, PC Bridge, Conspan, Merlin Dash, STRAN, STAAD, LRFD P/S, and more.
