Construction Services
We provide a variety of construction services to many clients from government agencies, to general contractors, to specialty contractors requiring working platforms and the like. Our services have included:
- Inspection of various issues that arise during construction. These items have ranged from foundation inspection for a swimming pool to major flooding issues of large commercial buildings due to improper temporary control measures.
- Review of shop drawings submitted by contractors. This work is typically done for project owners such as DOT's and DPW's and can vary in nature from formwork plans to concrete repair techniques to steel fabrication/erection details.
- Preparation of shop drawings for contractors. From detailing of reinforcing steel to complicated temporary support issues for various structures, we offer a wide range of shop drawing services.
- Preparation of working platform drawings for specialty contractors. We have provided working platform design and drawings for many specialty contractors. This work has included demolition shielding platforms for general contractors, and working platforms for bridge painters on a variety of very important bridges including the new Woodrow Wilson Bridge near Washington, D.C.; many of the I-95, I-395, I-695, I-895 and I-83 Bridges in Baltimore and Baltimore County; the US 40 bridge over the Susquehanna River; the U.S. 522 Wichert Truss bridge over MD 144 and MD 894; The Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore; Many I-70 and I-81 bridges in Maryland and Virginia; the I-95 Bridge over the Delaware River in Pennsylvania; and many more.
